Traditional (20th century) learning models tend to disappoint 21st-century learners. These models undermine long-term learner success by adding more content, often more advanced content, on top of an uncertain foundation (Khan, 2012). We identify innovative learning strategies, technologies, and games, which excite 21st-century learners.

Innovation

What 21st-century learning skills are most critical?  How do 21st-century learners prepare themselves for “jobs and technologies” which, according to Crutcher, “don”t yet exist…in order to solve problems that we don”t even know are problems yet”? We survey college students to identify the learning strategies they use, the educational technologies they access, and the social networks they leverage to learn.
TeleMedicine (virtual) appointments are typically available Monday through Thursday from 4:15-8:30 pm. TeleMedicine generally refers to virtual psychotherapy sessions via a digital platform instead of the provider and client being physically together. We integrate creative outlets: Mindfulness mediation, yoga, creative writing, and more.

Mindfulness & Resiliency

How do 21-st century learners deal with difficult events that change their lives? What enables them to do so? It likely involves resilience, an ongoing process that requires time and effort and engages people in taking a number of steps. What steps do 21st century learners take?
"If you have an idea that seems worth doing,
don't wait to hire other people and get
funding and all those things. Just start doing it,
wait
to see what happens, and then iterate on that..."
